When traveling through Mexico, one thing that can catch people off guard is the fees associated with ATM withdrawals and money exchanges. Withdrawing money from a local ATM will often have much lower fees than using a money exchange, but these fees can still add up and eat into your travel budget. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quick note:<\/strong> If possible try to avoid exchanging money at the airport. They often have the worst exchange rates and you will end up paying higher fees and receiving less cash.
